Our
friend Hudson has been staying with us this past week, and his whole
visit has been filled with little gifts. We have been sharing stories,
dinners, advice, inspiration, philosophies, adventures, encouragement,
and little treasures. When he arrived, he brought us fresh spring water from his uncle's meadow and some recently plucked baby pine tips to make into tea! Yesterday evening he took a few pictures of me in another gift–
this dress, which Brian brought back from New York for me! (Good work,
love.) In exchange for the photos, I made Hudson a little bundle of
lavender to enjoy during his drive home to Nebraska.
It's these little things that remind me what a gift life is.
